Vanuatu is currently completing the REDD+ (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and forest Degradation) readiness phase. UNIQUE conducted a tailor made national forest inventory using state-of-the art digital tools. We developed the national forest monitoring system for the quantification of emission reductions from the sector. We trained local teams on the digital technology solutions and ensured the sustainable establishment of REDD+ in the country.
